Heavy snow hits Urumqi in NW China's Xinjiang

From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning, Urumqi experienced significant precipitation, with rainfall turning to heavy snow and setting a new record in daily precipitation for the city during November. Snow accumulation has exceeded 28 millimeters during the two days, meeting the standard for a heavy snowstorm, while snow depth reached 20 centimeters. At present, the snowfall in Urumqi is still continuing.
